The PNJR was established with the following objectives:
- To help collect local joint replacement data.
- To facilitate research and analyse outcomes after joint replacement surgery in the local population.
- To guide local implant suppliers on provision of adequate inventory based on current demand of arthroplasty surgeons consensus group.
